Approval Authority (Roles Database)
Need to be addressed:
Create a way to electronically store and retrieve the delegations of authority to transact departmental business Description:
Combine efforts already underway in Information and Educational Technology (IET) and Accounting and Financial Services (A&FS) to develop an approval authority or roles database. Input from the Office of Resource Management and Planning and the Offices of the Chancellor and Provost should also be gathered to support as many campus business functions as practical. Notes/Status:
The development of a Group and Role Database Management solution is in its analysis phase. The functional requirements will be developed and a product selected in consultation with the Technology Infrastructure Forum (TIF) and select administrative units across campus. IT Strategies:
