Cost Sharing

Provide campus departments with a tool for managing cost sharing funds Description:
Development of a cost sharing system would be closely modeled after a system that is currently in use at UC Irvine and that is in various stages of implementation at other UC campuses. This web-based system would be an integral component of the DaFIS Decision Support system and would leverage information already existing in the financial records of the University. Cost sharing and effort reporting requirements are integral to each other. The cost sharing system will need to exchange data with the effort reporting system, DaFIS and the electronic research administration (ERA) system. Notes/Status:
This module of DaFIS Decision Support is in development; a pilot is expected by late summer. IT Strategies:
