Develop a process and computer resources in support of administrative fact-finding reviews and law enforcement investigations Description:
The UC Davis Police Department and Information and Educational Technology propose to jointly develop, implement and administer a campus program to provide forensic computer support for administrative fact finding reviews and law enforcement investigations. The program will provide labor, hardware and software resources to create a judicially acceptable image of a computer under investigation, ensure custody preservation and integrity of computer images and employ skills to thoroughly analyze the electronic data. It is anticipated that this program will be formally proposed for review and campus funding in July 2004. IT Strategies:
